Infix Widgets


A collection of widgets for use with the WidgetFX open-source desktop widget platform. Updated 5-Nov-2009

Infix Widgets and WidgetFX both rely on JavaFX which is included with Java SE 6 (or higher). For best results, Install Java 6 prior to running.

WidgetFX and JavaFX are both relatively new platforms. There are already many other (also free) alternatives to the widgets published here - and the number of alternatives will only continue to grow (visit the WidgetFX Library to explore other widgets published for use with WidgetFX). Widgets published from this site are prefixed with the name Infix to help distinguish them in an ever expanding universe of widgets.

All Infix Widgets support compatible options for "skinning" (changing the color/appearance of the widget), allowing them to conform to a wide range of desktop themes. For a quick preview of some of the skinning options, click on the image to the right of this page.
